More about the role
We are looking for a resilient and friendly Female Support Worker* to join a team that works in partnership with people who use our services, to enable them to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community. As a Support Worker you will promote positive health and well-being of the people that you support, enabling them to have a meaningful life and be involved in a range of activities which include:
1. Walking
2. Trips to the theatre
3. Trips to local cafes
4. Arts & Crafts
The successful applicant will be required to undertake shift work including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, by means of a three week rolling rota. The role also involves personal care. A full driving licence would be beneficial although your own vehicle is not required.
At Autism Initiatives we work alongside people with autism, providing specialist services tailored to each individual. Experience is not essential, but a genuine passion for providing person centred support as well as a positive attitude, is key to being successful in this role.
In return, we will provide you with ongoing training and development, including supporting you to obtain your Diploma Level 2 qualification in Care. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge and fulfil your career aspirations.
