This position involves utilizing advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D schematics and installation drawings and 3D piping models for various mechanical aspects.

Important Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed designs for piping systems, including schematics, layouts, isometric drawings, and Bill of Materials using CAD software.
* Design and integrate mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
* Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
* Conduct pressure drop calculations and pipe sizing for various fluid systems.
* Select appropriate materials and components based on project specifications and environmental conditions.
* Collaborate with Project and Integration Engineers to translate design concepts into comprehensive and accurate technical drawings.
* Work closely with the Project Management and Commissioning team to ensure the systems function as intended.
* Optimize designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and industry standards, ensuring precision through rigorous quality control.
Job Requirements:
* Experience in piping and mechanical systems design, preferably in the marine or offshore industry.
* High-level proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD 2D and Rhino3D.
* Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DNV, Lloyd's Register, MCA).
* Knowledge of shipbuilding and naval architecture design principles.
* Excellent IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Flexibility and responsiveness to the changing needs of the business and group.
