About the role
We are recruiting for a Strategy Manager to join the team, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer who oversees Marketing, Strategy, Pricing and Enablement.
This newly created role sits at the heart of the business, bridging the sales and product teams. It plays a crucial role in accelerating our growth across the UK and Europe, both organically and through acquisitions.
Key objectives include identifying and prioritising new revenue opportunities in different industries and geographies, developing and selling the right products to targeted customer segments, supporting proposition creation, particularly pricing, and growth acceleration through M&A.
Key responsibilities include:
* Use a data-driven approach to customer and product segmentation to prioritise and deliver incremental revenue growth
* Collaborate closely with Product teams to identify and build winning product propositions
* Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to develop strategies, pricing models and go-to-market plans that exceed revenue targets
* Develop and optimise pricing strategies based on market analysis, customer segmentation and product positioning to maximise revenue and profitability
* Provide market and insight leadership to the leadership team, including competitive pricing intelligence, to facilitate higher quality commercial execution
* Support M&A activities to support CitNOW Group’s proven inorganic growth strategy
* Manage key deliverables across business planning cycles, ensuring that milestones are met and key stakeholders are informed of progress
* Own and drive other strategic projects required by the business, ensuring they align with business priorities and are executed effectively
We are looking for:
* Proven strategy pedigree with 2-4 years at either a strategy house or in a corporate strategy team
* Experience working in a B2B technology business context (with experience or interest in automotive technology)
* Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills and business judgment
* A strong intellect, with a desire to absorb a vast amount of industry information
* An ability to operate within an imperfect, ambiguous, hands-on environment
* An excellent communicator that can engage audiences of all seniorities
* Someone who will consistently demonstrate a passion for CitNOW Group’s core values
