As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supply Chain Manager to join their team. Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the company's supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality service. This role involves managing supplier relationships, inventory, and logistics while also supporting the development and growth of the supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have a proactive and analytical approach to supply chain management and a strong focus on team building and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of the supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships.
2. Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
4. Monitor and analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
5. Maintain and build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts and agreements.
6. Lead and mentor a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards.
Key Requirements:
1. Foodservice Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the foodservice industry is essential. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
2. Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Excel spreadsheets and other supply chain management software, is required.
3. Team Building: A strong willingness to help build, mentor, and develop a team is crucial. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
