Our Clients are an independent family run business based in mid Hants and are looking for the right person to join their team as a Commercial Projects Manager who can lead their successful commercial team. They are dealing with New Builds and Hospitality as well as Fit out type clients and are seeking to build upon this divisions success throughout 2022. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Manage commercial team ensuring an engaged, inspired, and high performing work force. Create a commercial culture, and team who can solve customer queries and deliver up selling opportunities. Ensuring that the Commercial brand positioning in terms of image and presentation in the department is consistent with the overall brand strategy. Partner with the marketing team, to define a marketing plan for each season, to drive traffic, attract customers and retain and develop existing customers and to develop deep roots in the local community. Ensuring that teams provide input to the CRM system maximising sales and building customer loyalty. Use networking opportunities to expand our customer base Serve and grow a portfolio of repeat-purchasing clients via CRM management Responsible for achieving sales and profit targets in commercial division Ensure that Commercial sales team receives proper training on sales techniques and merchandise. Review technical drawings, floor plans and highlight risks pre-work commencement. Check design documents with architects, surveyors and estimators Create a procurement plan for each trade including understanding tiered costings, bulk buys and cashflow impact. Responsible for day to day running of the project team and ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring progress Create and distribute RAMS as necessary Be the main point of contact for senior team, suppliers, and project team Provide and source expert advice on Flooring, Furniture and Furnishings Maintain regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholder management. Manage our staff and contractors on site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control. Respond to all onsite delays and report to senior team on day-to-day projects. Work closely with Account Executives and Site managers to provide updates on the project and help mitigate risks. Carry out site surveys during costing process and provide support to estimators and account executives. Hire and manage staff and sub-contractors for the project Comply with all company health and safety guidelines and promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed. Deal with any unexpected problems that may occur during the project. Manage snagging close out at completion and chase retentions. Role Requirements: Detailed knowledge of either Commercial Flooring, Furniture, Furnishings or shopfitting. CSCS Card Asbestos Awareness Comprehensive Project Management Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Use of Microsoft Office Working knowledge of Flooring preparations, common pitfalls and solvents/adhesives. Client Facing, with the ability to represent the business on site Commercially aware Experience Required: Have 2 years of industry specific experience Proven background of competent delivery and client satisfaction Our Clients are offering an attractive (negotiable) salary package in the region of £30k to £35k plus Bonuses etc to give OTE in region of £45k in year one.
