Sales Development Representative | Cambridge Company snapshot: A leading VC backed business with ambitious plans to expand globally with a Head Office in Cambridge. The role: Generating and growing the sales pipeline for the Head of Sales to qualify and close. Qualify potential clients to understand their needs and using a consultative sell to understand their pain points. With other internal development support, you’ll identify key decision makers within the sector and have proactive conversation on how the company can overcome current challenges. Become the point of contact between the internal teams and market, providing feedback on market trends, customer requirements and competitive actions. Go to exhibitions, events and seminars when required. Giving presentations and seminars may be included to promote the product. About you: Experienced in cold calling, generating new lead and strong communication skills (written and oral). Knowledge working in a startup/scale up business would be favourable. Flexibility to attend trade shows and exhibitions at potentially short notice.
