This is a fulltime post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.
This is a fixed-term post for 20 months.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Nurse to join Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS). This post offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of people across Renfrewshire who need support with alcohol and drug use.
As part of the multi-disciplinary team, you’ll work closely with the ADRS team and partner organisations to deliver compassionate, person-centred care. A key focus of this role is supporting Scotland’s Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Standards, ensuring people receive the right support when they need it – including same-day treatment.
In this role, you’ll be supported and supervised by a Band 6 Nurse, taking responsibility for the care management and support of individuals accessing ADRS. You’ll play a vital part in delivering strengths based, recovery focused care that encourages self-management and empowerment.
Your day-to-day work will involve working in the community, including at clinics, offices, and visiting service users in their homes. Under the guidance of the Nurse Team Leader, you’ll collaborate with service users, carers, and other professionals to ensure care aligns with legislative frameworks, clinical policies, and agreed standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking service that’s committed to reducing harm and helping people build healthier, more stable futures. If you’re a compassionate and motivated nurse looking to develop your skills in alcohol and drug recovery, we would love to hear from you!
