As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you'll be responsible for leading your team to achieve targets in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your key responsibilities will include motivating and supporting your team, swiftly solving problems, and delegating tasks effectively. You'll also be expected to create an environment where your colleagues can succeed and thrive, manage operations within your store, and handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shifts.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team in a similar environment, with the ability to delegate tasks and motivate their team members. They should possess patience, a friendly manner, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A proactive and encouraging approach to helping colleagues develop themselves and store operations is essential.
