This is a key role where you will manage small to medium sized capex improvement projects and lead the delivery of planned maintenance programs across the Leeds facility, ensuring we create a great place to work.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, in the role you will lead and develop a team of specialised maintenance engineers, whilst working closely with Production and Operational teams to promote a safe working environment.
In the role you will be responsible for a full operational budget, develop and implement key performance indicators in line with Group objectives, ensure reactive maintenance responsiveness and total cost of maintenance are in line with site targets and effectively manage third party contractors, arranging tenders and contracts for outsourced contracts such as cleaning and catering.
The role would suit an individual who has the ability to reason and reach sound conclusions in a timely manner, whilst conveying ideas and information concisely.
Experience Requirements:
1. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment in a similar position.
2. Hold NEBOSH certification.
3. Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification.
4. Experience of implementing modern equipment maintenance practices.
