To support us in delivering our vision and strategy we are looking for an inspiring leader to join the Customer Experience senior leadership team as our Director of Customer & Commercial Projects. This is a pivotal role in shaping our commercial strategies, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer experience across our organisation, to keep us future ready and a leading figure in the sector.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Leading commercial strategy, customer insight, and quality improvement initiatives.
2. Driving operating margin improvements and optimising business performance.
3. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners.
4. Overseeing procurement, contract negotiations, and financial performance.
5. Supporting strategic cost reviews and ensuring regulatory compliance.
What We're Looking For:
1. Senior-level strategic experience in commercial or relationship management.
2. Expertise in financial planning, business development, and commercial governance.
3. Ability to develop and implement strategies that deliver measurable results in a regulated environment.
4. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
6. Ability to lead large-scale change and embed new ways of working, with a track record of leading and motivating teams, and influencing stakeholders.
What You'll Need:
1. Education to degree level, or equivalent, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
2. A formal commercial or financial professional qualification or qualified by experience.
3. Ideally, you'll have a professional housing or related qualification, but if not, you'll be willing to work towards attaining this, with our support.
This is a full time, hybrid role, giving you the opportunity to work flexibly from home and our offices. Our main offices are Lichfield, Wolverhampton, Tewkesbury and Chipping Sodbury; you can be based at any of these locations but regular travel across the whole of our operational geography will be required.
A full driving licence and a basic DBS with consumer check will be required.
