About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join a leading precision engineering company in the Fareham area. Specialising in high-tolerance machining for aerospace, oil & gas, and nuclear industries, the company offers long-term career development and training on the latest CNC technology.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Setting and operating CNC Lathes and driven tool lathes
✅ Adjusting machine offsets to ensure accurate, repeatable machining
✅ Working with high-tensile and ultra-high-tensile materials
✅ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and route cards
✅ Performing first-off inspections and completing production paperwork
✅ Ensuring high standards are met in high-volume batch production
✅ Keeping a clean and organised workspace
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC turning
🔹 Strong knowledge of tool setting and tooling requirements
🔹 Mazatrol programming experience is a bonus but not essential
🔹 Used to working within AS9100 Rev D environments
