Responsibilities
for the Operations Delivery Manager role:
- Actively promote and enforce the company safety culture and standards close collaboration
- with H&S Manager.
- To have full understanding of workload/projects/contracts
- Ensure sufficient resources to programmes - Planned & Reactive works.
- Manage and monitor projects and teams ensuring key milestones achieved.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Drive daily performance. Ensure we have & maintain short interval control to keep outputs
- up.
- Client liaison and management. Working with the Business Director to maximise the
- relationship & build for future.
- Ensure strong budget control including change management.
- Maintain records and ensure that they are on the WMS - maximising usage of this. Aurora.
- Contral Data returns, enabling continuous cashflow.
- Communicate with other depts i.e. Planning - to ensure we have a smooth cradle to grave
- delivery.
- Meet with clients periodically to review performance - selling our qualities on Customer
- Maximising internal trading with ORS, OTM.
- Ensuring that fleet operational capabilities are aligned to business requirements and enable
- us to respond with agility to client expectations and opportunities.
Key Requirements for this Operations Delivery Manager role:
- 10+ years of experience in a leading capacity (Project Lead, Ops Manager, or equivalent) in the Utilities industry
- Knowledge of LV mains replacement and EV charging would be beneficial
- IT Literate - full Microsoft Suite
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and budgets.
- Familiarity with civil engineering, trenchless technology, excavation, and reinstatement practices.
- Relevant site certifications
Package offered for this Operations Delivery Manager role:
