Job Description
We are working with a global green energy company to hire a Commercial Contract Manager. It's a great opportunity to work as part of a growing business & would suit someone with a supply chain/procurement background.
Here's a taster of what you'll be doing:
1. Identify contracting partners that can deliver high quality, commercially viable and innovative products and services.
2. Negotiate supplier contracts and agree pricing, Service Levels and KPIs.
3. Support the sales team to agree contracts with our key customers that contribute to the long term and strategic development of the company.
4. Support the Bid Team in business development activities, liaising with consortium partners and subcontractors in support of tender preparation and documentation completion.
5. Work with the Commercial Team to develop and improve processes.
What we're looking for:
A measured, engaging and highly organised individual with a strong commercial focus and a confident understanding of legal documents. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, to build valuable relationships with our partners and customers that centre on collaboration and trust.
Essential Experience
1. Experience of negotiating commercial contracts and assuming responsibility for managing the input from external lawyers and internal commercial roles.
2. Experience of procuring both goods and services.
3. Experience working with JCT and NEC contracts.
