Join our clients team at Hinkley Point C as a Records Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate management and traceability of vital project documentation. About the Role: Reporting to the LTQR Manager, this position is essential in supporting the delivery of project requirements with a focus on information management. You will ensure that all project-related documentation is accurately maintained, fully traceable, and controlled throughout the lifecycle of the project and facility. Key Responsibilities: Document Compliance: Review incoming and outgoing documents to ensure they meet all necessary requirements. Document Control: Manage the distribution of both electronic and hard-copy documents with end-to-end configuration control. Reporting: Prepare data reports on document status for the LTQR Manager as required. Handover Packs: Assist in the production of LTQR handover packs. Collaboration: Work closely with Area Quality Leads to ensure LTQRs are submitted for work packages as required by contract. Accuracy Checks: Review LTQRs for content accuracy and adequacy to support the compilation of lifetime records and End of Erection Status Reports. To thrive in this role, you'll need: A qualification in Engineering or Computer disciplines (ONC, HNC, HND, or equivalent experience). Excellent IT skills, with experience in using electronic document management systems (EDMS) and associated metadata schemas. At least 3 years of experience with EDMS automation systems and control of LTQR records.
