The Role
The Marketing Associate will support the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive occupancy, brand awareness, and engagement within the student accommodation sector. This role involves working closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing - Student and other team members to implement marketing campaigns, manage digital and traditional marketing channels, and analyse performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn. Create engaging content to drive engagement. Manage the student content creator programme,
* Write clear, compelling content for social media posts, blog articles, website, marketing campaigns, and other marketing materials.
* Plan, design, and execute email marketing campaigns via HubSpot to drive engagement.
* Oversee and update content on the company website, ensuring it stays current and SEO-friendly. Monitor website performance and user engagement through analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Manage and update listings on third-party platforms to attract new tenants and increase brand awareness.
* Assist with photography and room styling for marketing purposes, ensuring properties are presented in the best possible light.
* Plan and organise a calendar of student events working closely with on-site teams to deliver the best student experience.
* Manage and optimise business profiles on Google to increase visibility and engagement and maintain the company's online reputation by responding to feedback
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
* Liaise with external partners and agencies to coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the student accommodation or hospitality industry.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
* Proficiency in marketing tools and software, such as Google Analytics, WordPress, Canva, HubSpot, social media management platforms and editing tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
