Kirklees Council have an exciting opportunity to recruit a talented and collaborative Manager to manage the in-house Heating department that sits within Homes and Neighbourhoods.
As General Manager Heating you will support the Service Manager M&E to deliver HRA programmes for Homes and Neighbourhoods. You will develop and deliver heating repair and maintenance, capital programmes and gas compliance to circa 22,000 homes, taking the lead on operational delivery.
Working with the Service Manager M&E, other Senior Managers within the Service, and across the Council, you will support the achievement of positive outcomes for residents and stakeholders. You will contribute to delivery of the overall objectives of the Team, Service and Organisation, championing the tenant voice and ensuring their needs are at the heart of what we do.
The post holder will be responsible for managing a large heating team and delivering a first-class service to meet customer needs, compliance and respective regulations and legislation associated with all aspects of property maintenance and capital delivery.
