This role requires good communication and interpersonal skills in addition to basic computer and email skills. You would be required to write directly into the medical notes (paper and/or electronic) and so a good standard of written work is essential. It is a busy but friendly working environment and you will need to be resilient, flexible and organised. Your work will be directed and supervised by qualified therapists. You will assist the qualified therapists in delivering an excellent therapy service to patients in both the in and outpatient setting.You will contribute to the assessment, education and treatment of patients both individually and in groups. You will undertake general departmental duties such as cleaning, collation of statistical information and ordering equipment. You will undertake clerical and administrative tasks as necessary to maintain the smooth running of the department.
