What you will do in your working day
* Learn and Operate Machinery: Collaborate with experienced machinists to comprehend and operate various machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment (L3)
* Reading Engineering Drawings: Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to grasp product specifications and machining requirements
* Quality Control: Ensure precision and accuracy in every machined product by conducting quality checks and inspections
* Tool Maintenance: Acquire skills in maintaining and caring for machining tools, ensuring their optimal functionality
* Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to promote a secure working environment
* Problem Solving: Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, contributing to continuous improvement
The training you will be getting
* Level 2 Engineering Operative Standard (Mechanical Mechinist)
Functional Skills in Maths and English if required
* Development of knowledge, skills & behaviours required to complete the Engineering Operative Standard (Mechanical Machinist)
