Our client is a high profile global service business that provides solutions to any heavy lifting or transport challenge.
Due to demand for their services, they are looking to add an experienced Resource Planner / Co-ordinator to their team in Middlesbrough.

Do you have the required skills and experience to support a fast-paced engineering office where your role is critical to success?

As a primary point of contact for the field staff, your main responsibility will be to organise the daily planning of personnel and equipment within the Operations Division.
The responsibilities of a Resource Planner / Resource Co-ordinator:
1. Organise the planning of personnel and equipment; ensure the planning board is kept up to date and changes are made as and when required, including abnormal load routing on public highways.
2. Ensure resources are managed and utilised in the most effective manner.
3. Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and procedures.
4. Review timesheets; create purchase orders; complete all other relevant administration tasks to the highest standard in line with internal requirements.
5. Ensure Operators have the correct information regarding job assignments; build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and external suppliers; take out of hours calls on evenings and weekends.
6. First line management of operators, return to work interviews, and deal with day-to-day operational issues.
The ideal background of Resource Planner / Resource Co-ordinator:
1. Flexible and willing to be on call on evenings and weekends.
2. Knowledge and understanding of an Integrated Management System.
3. Proficient in ICT, particularly Microsoft Office Packages and SAP.
4. Good level of English both verbal and written.
5. Positive, can-do attitude able to work as a team player.
6. Experience working in an operational Planning / Coordinator role.
