Teaching Assistant
Location: Sprowston, Norwich
Salary: A£18,355 - A£19,280 per annum (Pro-Rata), including an allowance for holiday pay, A£24,408 - A£25,183 per annum (FTE)

The Role
The Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible. This permanent role will support the professional work of teachers as directed.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Have GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics, previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment, and have Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification.
2. Be committed to the school's high standards of teaching, learning, and professional development.
3. Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality, and a good sense of humour.
4. Understand the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.
5. Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.
6. Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms, or anywhere on the school site.
7. Experience in Early Years is desirable.
