Are you a recent graduate ready to start your career in buying? Join a dynamic team as a Buying Assistant, supporting the Lead Homewares Buyer with all aspects of day-to-day buying activities. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work closely with suppliers, collaborate with marketing, and help launch an exciting range of homewares to a loyal customer base.
Role Highlights:
* Assist in ordering, logging, and returning samples from suppliers
* Organise samples for selections, range reviews, and photoshoots
* Ensure accurate sample tracking on selection spreadsheets
* Handle sample invoices, process them, and raise debit notes when needed
What We’re Looking For:
* A relevant degree (or equivalent experience)
* An interest in textiles, homewares or fashion buying
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Previous office-based administrative experience
* Confident and clear phone manner
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Full driving licence and access to your own car

This role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days from home. Please note that a driving licence and own transport are required due to the rural location.
