Teaching Personnel’s dedicated SEN Team is proud to work closely with a fantastic specialist SEN school in Warrington – and we're looking for a vibrant, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join their outstanding team!
This inspiring school caters to students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Complex Learning Difficulties. Every pupil has an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), and the school's exceptional facilities help meet their individual needs.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of each student's educational journey:
* Deliver tailored support 1:1 and in small groups, following personalised EHCPs.
* Promote emotional wellbeing and help students with emotional regulation.
* Assist the class teacher by preparing inclusive and engaging resources.
* Use specialist resources such as PECS cards, communication boards and sensory equipment (training provided – no prior experience necessary!).
* Support students with Activities of Daily Living and personal care where required, helping them grow their independence and confidence.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for working with young people:
* Previous experience with children (either professional or personal) is essential.
* Experience with SEN or SEMH needs is highly desirable, but not essential – your attitude and willingness to learn matter most!
* A proactive and positive mindset – someone confident to take initiative and build strong relationships with students.
* A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
