Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher seeking a new opportunity in Burnley? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced KS1 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a solid understanding of the national curriculum, with a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of KS1 students
2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to succeed
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
5. Communicate effectively with parents to provide regular updates on student progress and address any concerns
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience teaching KS1 students within a UK school setting
8. Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
11. Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Additional training or certification in relevant areas (e.g., SENCO qualification, phonics training)
13. Experience teaching across a range of age groups within KS1
14. Specialism in a particular subject area or year group within KS1

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
