Job Overview
We are seeking an Interim Head of Regeneration Programmes to lead our team in delivering financial management, performance monitoring, and compliance for externally funded regeneration programmes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, grant funding, and public sector governance. You will be responsible for managing the Council's Accountable Body function, advising on policy development, and leading the corporate development of financial management policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Council's financial and performance monitoring policies and procedures.
* Advise the Head of Service and Executive Director on policy development and implementation.
* Lead the corporate development of financial management policies and procedures.
* Manage the effective management of the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal.
* Direct a team of professional staff through performance management and appraisals.
