A day in the life of…
As Events Bar Tender, you will assist the Manager and supervisors in serving guests at events ranging from 40 to 300 guests. You will also be required to serve drinks to tables in the events room and collect glasses. You will maintain consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction while creating a positive working environment that supports our values.
Based in the Crowne Plaza Newcastle, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.
Please note that due to licensing legislation, we will only be accepting applicants who are age 18 or above. Due to the nature of this role, you may be required to work late evenings and weekends.
What do we need from you?
* The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hospitality bar experience.
* To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.
* You’ll possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* An ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent service to guests, being agile in your ability to support colleagues across the hotel.
* Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organised dining area.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Experience working in a bar or hospitality environment and knowledge of creating cocktails as well as other beverages would be beneficial.
