Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join the team at a specialized SEMH school in Croydon. This rewarding role involves working with primary-aged children, supporting their learning and personal development in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to children with SEMH needs, ensuring they feel understood and valued.
Assist in implementing individualized education and behaviour plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support children in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support pupil progress.
Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with children with SEMH needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships and manage challenging behaviour effectively.
Previous experience in a similar role or within a SEN/SEMH setting is desirable but not essential.
