We are seeking a motivated and reliable Supply Teacher to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a flexible, ongoing position, with work available Monday to Friday. The daily rate ranges from £130 to £165, depending on your experience and the nature of the assignment. This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking for flexibility or those seeking regular supply work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Classroom Management: Deliver high-quality teaching and maintain effective classroom management, ensuring students are engaged and learning in a positive, structured environment.
* Lesson Delivery: Follow provided lesson plans, or deliver your own lessons where required, in line with the curriculum and school policies.
* Student Support: Provide support for students, ensuring that they remain focused and on track with their work.
* Collaboration: Work closely with school staff to ensure continuity of education and meet the needs of the students.
* Flexibility: Be available to cover various subjects and year groups as needed, depending on school requirements.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold QTS or equivalent.
* Experience: Previous teaching experience is preferred, but we are happy to hear from newly qualified teachers (NQTs).
* Enhanced DBS Check: You must have an enhanced DBS check (on the update service, or be willing to obtain one).
* Good Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
* Adaptability: Ability to step into various classroom settings and adapt to different school environments.
* Positive Attitude: A commitment to delivering high-quality education and a passion for supporting students’ learning and development.
