The Castle School is excited to be recruiting a Computer Science teacher from January 2025 or sooner. Following the retirement of a long-standing and valued member of the school community, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Computer Science teacher who is determined to make a difference to the lives and futures of our young people. Working alongside the Head of Computer Science, it is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to really have an impact and help shape the department. The faculty have received significant investment in the past year, with two new computer science labs being purpose-built and furnished with new and high-spec machines. Computer science is a popular choice at GCSE and we see this role as vital for supporting the Head of Computer Science to increase our uptake to A-level and then towards University, apprenticeships and employment in the sector. This post would be suitable for an ECT.
