Your Role as an Assessor:
Conduct Work Capacity Assessments (WCA) to evaluate an individual’s ability to work due to physical or mental health conditions.
Review medical evidence and engage with claimants to assess how their condition affects their capability to perform work-related activities.
Use professional clinical judgment to provide fair and well-documented reports for the DWP.
Carry out assessments through telephone, video, or face-to-face consultations, depending on claimant requirements.
Work within set guidelines, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and report quality.
Who Can Apply?
Must have active HCPC/NMC registration (Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in adult healthcare):
Nurses (RGN, RNLD, RMN)
Allied Health Professionals (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, Pharmacists).
