As part of our ongoing expansion, we’re on the lookout for a motivated, results-driven National Business Development Manager to join our team and help us continue our success story.
The Role
As a National BD Manager, you’ll be crucial in bringing in large volume accounts across the UK for Aligra. This role has a heavy focus on understanding the market, preferred supplier lists (PSLs), and tender processes, including proposals and presenting. You’ll identify opportunities, build relationships, and secure new business, which will then be handed over to our Head of Managed Services to implement supply. If you’re proactive, customer-focused, and an excellent communicator, we’d love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities
13. Market Understanding: Stay informed about industry trends, PSLs, and competitor activities to identify and exploit business opportunities.
14. Proposals and Tenders: Prepare and present comprehensive proposals and participate in the tender process to secure new business.
15. Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with potential large volume clients, understanding their needs and creating tailored solutions.
16. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and meet targets.
17. Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Managed Services to ensure seamless implementation of new accounts.
18. Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on sales activities and outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
19. Proven experience in a similar role with a strong track record of securing large volume accounts.
20. Desirable: Experience in the recruitment industry, though not necessary if you can demonstrate transferrable skills.
21. Strong understanding of sales processes, proposals, and tendering.
22. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
23. Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
24. Ability to present effectively at all levels and build lasting client relationships.
