Axon Moore are representing a truly innovative, market leading business who are light years ahead of their competitors. Due to growth, the company need to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable team leader for a period of circa 3 months with the potential to be extended or go permanent.
Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, the role holder will primarily be responsible for:
1. Handling the day to day financial transactions within the company.
2. Leading an AP team of 10.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the direct people leadership of accounts payable analysts.
2. Implementing, supporting and delivering accounts payable strategy.
3. Managing all aspects of transactional processing within accounts payable team.
4. Driving productivity and delivering services in line with KPIs.
5. Working closely with Accounts Payable Manager to identify process improvements and drive best practice.
6. Being the senior escalation point in the event of unresolved or complex issues.
7. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to monitor performance and resolve issues impacting productivity and accuracy.
8. Supporting in delivering audit.
9. Recognising and communicating any risks and issues with the team, management and key stakeholders.
10. Coaching, training, developing and motivating the team.
Skills & Requirements:
1. At least 3 years' experience in AP & 2 years in management.
2. GCSE Maths and English.
3. IT literate, able to use Microsoft Office, Excel etc.
4. Confident and professional manner.
5. Team player and approachable.
6. Numerical skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
