Your Role at Signature
From our exceptional dining experiences to our luxurious environment, our Hospitality Assistants are responsible for the upkeep of the non-clinical areas of our home.
Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.
In Activitiesyoull bring a wealth of ideas to improve and maintain our residents wellbeing. Youll produce a packed daily schedule that caters to residents physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. Youll also organise key events throughout the year such as our Summer Fete.
Youll also support the Reception team and will be the first to welcome and greet visitors, in a professional, friendly and courteous way, making sure the visitors book and the persons identity are checked as far as reasonably practicable, and that the contractors log is signed by visiting workmen.
Youll also be answering the phone, redirecting calls and recording messages as required, and managing emails and faxes if needed, along with various office and admin duties such as filing, word processing, maintaining databases and photocopying for other senior staff. Youll also be in charge of organising staff lunch rotas, receiving and managing post, and signing for incoming post if residents are not able to receive it themselves.
Working in Food & Beverage youll welcome residents in, explain menu choices in a clear, concise way, serve food from the kitchen and take pride in keeping the dining room spotlessly clean. Youll reset tables, tidy work areas and prepare the food service areas for the next service.

As well effective communication skills, working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation would be preferred as well as hospitality experience in a similar environment.
