About the Role:
As the first-ever Copy Lead at HeliosX, this is an exciting opportunity to shape and drive the voice behind our portfolio of innovative brands. You'll be the expert setting the vision for copy across the entire group, leading the charge in crafting compelling, compliant, and impactful content that resonates with our diverse audiences.
With responsibility for guiding the tone of voice (TOV) across channels, you’ll collaborate with key teams - Brand, Growth, Product, Medical, and Customer Service - to ensure every piece of content reflects our high standards and clinical excellence. Managing a team of senior copywriters, you'll be at the heart of creating everything from cutting-edge brand campaigns to CX macros, all while ensuring consistency, engagement, and regulatory adherence.
This role is perfect for an experienced leader ready to make their mark by delivering exceptional copy that drives results and strengthens the voice of HeliosX.
What You'll be Doing:
1. Inspire and lead a team of senior copywriters
1. Drive creative excellence across all touchpoints
2. Nurture a culture of innovation and high standards and empowering the team to produce industry-leading content that sets our brands apart
3. Taking ownership of copy briefs, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines
4. Editing and providing feedback on copy generated by the copy team and freelance support
5. Creating systemised frameworks and tools to elevate the quality and velocity of the team
2. Champion the development of breakthrough brand and campaign copy
1. Creating high-quality written content for marketing campaigns, blogs, websites, social media, and video content
2. Leverage deep expertise in persuasive writing and consumer behaviour insights to craft messaging that drives engagement and conversions
3. Developing creative copy strategies tailored to each brand that are forward-thinking and in-line with current media trends
4. Be the guardian of our brand voice; ensuring every piece of content aligns with our unique tone and strategic objectives across all channels, on and offline
3. Establish and oversee rigorous compliance processes
1. Balance creativity with compliance to ensure our copy meets all regulatory standards while maintaining speed and agility in production
2. Embed a culture of continuous improvement, consistency, and innovation across the team
3. Stay ahead of industry trends, implementing cutting-edge techniques and tools that push our creative boundaries
4. Partner with XFN teams
1. Shape and execute content strategies that elevate the brand’s vision, fuel marketing initiatives, and drive measurable impact
2. Liaising with cross functional teams to continuously assess performance and quality of team output to ensure we maintain a high bar on all copy produced
3. Presenting in XFN meetings, bringing creative ideas to the team and collaborating with key stakeholders from across the business
Who you are:
* 5-10 years of experience (or equivalent skills) in content marketing or copywriting, ideally with in-house brand (healthtech, medical, fintech, D2C/startup) experience or agency background.
* 3+ yrs in leadership and team management skills, with a talent for inspiring, mentoring, and developing a diverse team of creative professionals to reach their full potential.
* A master of the art of copywriting and skilled at transforming briefs into powerful creative concepts that aligns perfectly with brand identity and strategic vision
* You're a motivator to your team with fresh, innovative ideas across brand campaigns, paid social, CRM, and Product—delivering bold, impactful messages that resonate deeply with our audiences
* You have a results-oriented approach with the ability to translate content analytics into actionable insights, objectively assessing performance and continuously seeking opportunities for optimization.
* Experience in organising and leading workshops and sessions related to content planning, development, and production, driving a collaborative approach to creativity.
* A natural storyteller and possess an ear for a great turn of phrase that customers genuinely want to read
* Strategic thinker who translates high-level business goals into creative strategies that balance brand integrity with commercial objectives
* Experience navigating medical or legal compliance processes, with an added advantage of managing medically focused copywriters
