Job Title: Independence Coach
Location: Doncaster and surrounding areas (community-based)
Job Type: Part-time leading up to full-time hours (24-37.5)
Job Description:
We are seeking a conscientious Independence Coach to join our amazing team at Stride Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will work with our neurodivergent client base, helping them achieve their individual goals. The candidate will adopt a person-centred approach when delivering their bespoke coaching sessions to a caseload of up to 10 clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and organised individual to support neurodivergent adults and make a real difference.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage own scheduling and caseload
2. Complete daily session notes and monitor client progress
3. Collaborate and liaise with the team to plan and deliver high-quality sessions for clients
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
1. Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a car for daily travel (mileage scheme available*)
2. Strong organisational and communication skills
3. Self-confidence and initiative in planning and delivering bespoke sessions
Desirable Experience:
1. Experience providing personal assistance/coaching for neurodivergent adults (desirable)
2. Experience in neurodiversity or a related field
3. Understanding of or experience in delivering coping strategy sessions
