The post holder will administratively support the Finance and Performance function of the organisation.
The post holder will work within the Finance and Performance Team and be accountable to the Finance and Performance Manager.
Main duties of the job
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support in relation to all aspects of financial services for Lancaster Medical Practice and Lancaster Medical Group Ltd (Pharmacy), in line with agreed policies and procedures.
2. Assist in the processing of invoices for payment to suppliers. Download and reconcile statements.
3. Raise invoices, monitor income received, reconcile petty cash, and process weekly banking for Lancaster Medical Practice and Lancaster Medical Group Ltd (Pharmacy).
4. Ensure all information entered into accounting systems is accurate, reliable, and timely for Lancaster Medical Practice and Lancaster Medical Group Ltd (Pharmacy).
5. Administratively support the payroll and pensions systems in line with agreed policies for Lancaster Medical Practice and Lancaster Medical Group Ltd (Pharmacy).
6. Assist the Finance and Performance Manager with the monthly submission of VAT for Lancaster Medical Group Ltd.
7. Provide administrative support to the Performance (activity) function of Lancaster Medical Practice.
