The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a Talent & Acquisition Advisor to join the People Services Team at CAE. In a forward-thinking and dynamic environment, we are seeking a dedicated professional to assess, recruit, and develop talent. From bringing new talent into the organisation to adopting internal development and retention, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce. You will collaborate with external recruitment partners to meet business recruitment goals and objectives, while working closely with our employee experience team to collaboratively implement strategies to develop talent across the organisation. This position is ideal for someone passionate about talent acquisition, internal mobility, and long-term career development. What you will be doing? Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to onboarding. Design and maintain suite of job descriptions. Profile and benchmark roles. Collaborate with external recruitment partners to identify top talent aligned with business objectives. Design and execute effective recruitment campaigns to attract high-quality candidates. Write engaging job advertisements and utilise diverse channels to promote opportunities. Talent Development and Retention Work alongside the wider People Services Team to assess existing talent and implement strategies supporting internal career progression. Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and align talent with evolving business needs. Contribute to the development of a retention strategy that supports long-term employee engagement. Create career maps to support development journeys across the business. Stakeholder Collaboration Build strong, trusting relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand their specific requirements. Provide expert advice and coaching on recruitment best practices and interview techniques. Support stakeholders in making informed recruitment decisions with clear, actionable recommendations. System and Data Management Maintain and optimise the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process. Collate, analyse, and report recruitment & talent KPIs, delivering accurate data to inform strategic planning. Monitor and evaluate recruitment suppliers, ensuring performance aligns with agreed terms and organisational needs. Design of talent module to monitor talent across the business. Strategic Initiatives Align recruitment activities with broader organisational goals and objectives. Promote and enhance initiatives such as employee referral programmes and internal mobility strategies. Support workforce planning by identifying future talent requirements and building robust talent pipelines.
