JOB ROLE: Support Worker
LOCATION: Bryncoch, Neath (SA10)
SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30* per hour

About Cedar House:
At Cedar House, we support 14 people with Mental Health needs, Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities, and Physical Disabilities. We enable individuals to develop their skills, strengths, and resilience, assisting them in developing resources to self-manage and stay well.
Responsibilities:
* Prompt service users' independence while helping them live fulfilling lives.
* Support and encourage the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintain and assist with healthcare needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
* Assist with personal care (depending on the service user).
* Assist with domestic tasks, including cleaning and cooking.
Experience in the care sector is not essential as we offer full training. However, you need the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values daily to support people in living happy and healthy lives.
