Community Engagement Project Officer We are looking for a dynamic and friendly project officer to manage a community engagement project in West Yorkshire. You will be joining the nation’s favourite environmental charity, campaigning on a range of environmental issues, effecting change at both a local and national levels. This is a part-time role offer flexible and hybrid working. About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and friendly project officer to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a community engagement and behaviour change campaign in Kirklees. This 12 month project, reporting in to the project manager is a partnership between food and drink manufacturers, local government and the charity. Working in a busy marketing and communications team, you will work to understand and engage local communities through research, engage community leaders to adopt and amplify our campaign and understand the impact of the charity work, and work with stakeholders on the ground. You will organise events, materials, reports and updates, but first and foremost, you will be the face of the charity within the community. With a proven track record in community/ grass roots engagement, event management and all round organisation, you will have experience of relationship management and event management.
