Clinical / Forensic Psychologist Part time 22.5 hours per week Salary: £53,600 pro rata, per annum Permanent - Wiltshire. Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Clinical / Forensic Psychologist to join one of our private clients within the Wiltshire area. We are seeking for a passionate and competent clinical/forensic psychologist to work alongside vulnerable young people in a residential children's home services. This is an exceptional opportunity to truly impact the lives of children who need specialised psychological support. In our residential care facilities, you will provide children and young people professional psychological evaluations, interventions, and treatment as a clinical or forensic psychologist. Visiting each property in the designated area at least once a week is a requirement of this hybrid working capacity. What you'll do: Deliver psychologically motivated, evidence-based treatment that complies with HCPC and BPS guidelines whilst being supervised. Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and compose psychological reports for young people and children who are under the care of the client. Create, propose and frequently evaluate and improve therapeutic treatment plans for young people in residential care and education. Supervise a limited caseload for personal intervention, delivering groups and young people in residential care and educational settings providing specialist psychological advice. Participate in the creation of a therapeutically informed service for residential and educational teams. What we're looking for: It is crucial to have prior experience working with children and young people or to have relevant, transferable skills. Post-doctoral expertise in applied psychology, such as models of psychopathology and developmental lifespan psychology. Require previous experience involving working with young people and children that have previously experienced trauma along with children and young people who have complex needs. Have experience of management and assessments of risk / crisis management / safeguarding / self - harm. Practitioner doctorate or equivalent accepted by the British Psychological Society as qualifying the person to work as a clinical/ counselling/ forensic psychologist/relevant qualification to enable HCPC registration. To have knowledge of therapeutic practices, along with the experience of working with sensory strategies. It is a must that you have a Full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle.
