We are a large inclusive primary school and require a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support autistic children in our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a talented and positive team in our purpose-built learning environment to provide support for autistic children in our SRP with all aspects of their education. The SRP Teaching Assistant will work under the direction and guidance of the SRP Lead Teacher and the SRP HLTA and will need a wide range of skills to support our SRP children's needs. The successful candidate will also have a genuine desire to ensure the children they support reach their full potential and have a safe, welcoming and positive learning experience.
The role is for 30 hours per week (6 hours each day, 8.45am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday), 38 weeks per year (term time only). The pay scale is Kent Range 3 at £23,337 per annum for a full-time position which equates to approximately £15,999 per annum pro rata for this role, plus a SEN allowance of £1441.72 per annum pro rata (total annual salary for this role is therefore £17,329).

A formal 30 minute interview will take place with a panel comprising of members of the Leadership Team. Candidates will also undertake a 25 minute English and Maths test.
