Intern, Engineering- Front End Processing
Responsibilities
* You will work in concert with experienced engineers on a process improvement or development project, the results of which will be presented to your team at the end of the summer.
* Experience hands-on device fabrication in a cleanroom environment.
* Support engineers in the areas of photolithography, thin-film deposition and wet/dry etching.
* Support experiments for improving processes or procedures.
* Study yield, repeatability, and performance of tools and/or processes.
Qualifications
* Must be enrolled in 3rd year of a relevant engineering degree program with a College or University, preferred disciplines:
1. Nanomaterials Engineering
2. Material Science/Engineering
3. Mechanical Engineering
4. Manufacturing Engineering
1. Basic knowledge of engineering principles.
2. Theoretical understanding of semiconductor device processing methods such as thin film deposition, photolithography, wet/dry etching, electroplating.
3. MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio).
4. Must be able to work from the IPG facility located in Oxford MA.
5. Must have reliable transportation to arrive to work on time.
6. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22C.F.R. §120.15 are required.
7. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee.
8. License exception Technology and software under restriction (TSR) defined in 15 CFR 740.6 may permit person from Country Group B.
