Key Responsibilities
* Husbandry and animal care of rodents in a state-of-the-art research facility.
* Safely handling and managing laboratory animals according to Home Office License regulations under the ASPA act 1986.
* Daily husbandry tasks to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all staff members.
* Assisting with the administration of medicines and record-keeping, including animal and laboratory records.
* Supporting the research team in various projects by providing expert animal care services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have excellent attention to detail. A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is also essential.

Salary Information
The starting salary for this role is £27,100 per annum, inclusive of a relocation package where applicable.
Requirements
* Possession of a PIL License (Modules A-C) and IAT Level 2 qualification.
* Previous experience in training staff members, ideally within a research facility setting.
* A BSc or higher in Biological Sciences or an equivalent degree.
* Previous experience working with rodents in a research environment.
