As the Head of Business Change, you will oversee the delivery of complex internal and external business change programmes, collaborating with the Managing Director of SD and Delivery Directors. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our programmes are executed smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with DCC’s high standards. You will also drive key strategies across communication, training, engagement, and business readiness to ensure seamless transitions for both internal teams and external partners.
What will you be doing?
1. Set and execute the strategy for major programme deliveries across SD, ensuring alignment across multiple projects.
2. Translate project plans into impactful communication campaigns that promote collaboration across DCC, suppliers, and partners, even across different countries and time zones.
3. Design and implement training strategies for large-scale corporate programmes such as FSM and DSP.
4. Work with functional Programme Managers and Directors to ensure business readiness for large functional change programmes.
5. Collaborate with the central PMO teams to communicate key milestones and activities within the programme team.
6. Ensure internal change programmes are delivered according to a well-defined strategy, with a focus on a smooth, “right-first time” delivery.
7. Cultivate and maintain a strong programme culture and ways of working, ensuring consistency across communications.
8. Manage communications and engagement activities, including regular updates, newsletters, and internal meeting materials (scripts, presentations, talking points).
9. Partner with external suppliers and key stakeholders, keeping them informed and aligned with programme developments.
10. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of communication strategies using metrics and feedback, continuously improving reporting and documentation.
What are we looking for?
1. Proven expertise in business change management, with strong project management experience.
2. Self-starter with a professional and confident manner, capable of driving change and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
3. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a history of successfully executing communication strategies.
4. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
5. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for different audiences.
6. Experience in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
