About Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation
Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Islamic heritage. The foundation was established to document and preserve the Islamic written heritage through its work in surveying, imaging, cataloguing, editing, studying, and publishing Islamic manuscripts.
Mission and Objectives
* To study and publish the Islamic written heritage.
* To promote the cultural and scientific role of Makkah and Madinah throughout history.
* To focus on the study of Māqaṣid (the philosophy of the Islamic law).
Job Description
The Design & Marketing role combines creative design with strategic digital marketing to build and promote the Foundation's digital presence.
Responsibilities:
* Design engaging graphics for print and digital use.
* Ensure all materials align with the Foundation's brand guidelines.
* Improve website and mobile app user interfaces for better user experience.
* Promote and support events organized by the Foundation.
* Conduct research on market trends, competition, and consumer preferences.
* Plan and manage marketing campaigns across channels.
* Create content to engage users and followers, and promote our publications.
* Analyse and optimize campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
* Oversee brand positioning, manage intellectual property rights, and monitor copyright issues.
* Manage website updates and troubleshooting.
* Optimize keywords, metadata, and content to improve search rankings.
* Explore AI tools to enhance website performance, user engagement, products, and processes.
* Plan, create, and schedule posts across platforms.
* Review and update pricing strategies for digital and print publications.
* Follow up on sales and payments, assist with shipping in the absence of the sales team.
Requirements:
* Good command of Arabic and English language.
* Graphic Design Skills:
o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Issuu, Canva).
o Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise in both print and digital formats.
o Experience with UI/UX design and web design principles.
o Knowledge of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
* Digital Marketing Skills:
o Experience with WordPress and SEO/SEM.
o Expertise in social media advertising, email marketing, and digital platforms (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp).
o Strong understanding of web analytics, performance metrics, and campaign optimization.
* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communication, Web Design, Media Arts, Business Administration (with a focus on Marketing), or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in graphic design and digital marketing.
Working Conditions:
* Daily attendance and punctuality in the office strictly from 9am to 5pm.
* Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
* A self-starter with creative flair.
* Creative, strategic, and analytical, with organisational skills.
