About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect to join an established and growing multi-disciplinary practice. This role will focus on delivering technical excellence, managing a team, and contributing to a variety of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and mentor a team of Architectural Technologists and graduate staff/apprentices.
* Lead on resourcing, quality management, and technical design packages.
* Ensure projects comply with Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act (training available if required).
* Work on a variety of commercial refurbishment projects (90% of workload).
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver exceptional designs.
* Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS for technical drawings and project development.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders and maintain excellent organizational skills.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
* Strong technical knowledge of construction and Building Regulations.
* Experience in commercial refurbishment projects.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS software.
* Familiarity with the Building Safety Act is advantageous.
* A proven ability to manage and mentor team members.
