The Occupational Health Nurse is an integral part of the team, providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care that our clients receive. This role requires an ability to assess and manage minor injury and illness, deliver health and wellbeing initiatives, and work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals. This is a part time position, 15 hours per week, Thursdays & Fridays between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm This is an onsite role, based on our clients site in Weybridge. What you'll be doing: • To provide an advice and immunisation service in accordance with patient group directives and departmental protocols. • To provide professional advice, support and guidance to the client and wider multidisciplinary team. • To assess clients presenting to Occupational Health providing sound clinical advice and treatment. • To assess client’s fitness to work for the appropriate job role in line with HP policies and client protocols and issue appropriate fitness certificates. • To maintain appropriate records in line with departmental protocols on record keeping. • To provide health surveillance in accordance with current legislation and in line with HP policies and guidelines. • To assist in the provision of health promotion and wellbeing on site. • To maintain valid and up to date registration with the NMC and comply with NMC guidelines in relation to professional issues and clinical supervision • To maintain working knowledge of HP policies and client protocols procedures and adopt these accordingly • To maintain a flexible approach to the role according to professional and service needs.
