Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join a world-renowned scientific instrument manufacturer.
Focusing on high-tech, cutting-edge analytical instrumentation, your primary responsibility will be developing the electronics for instrument control, data acquisition and display units for complex scientific instruments. You will need to communicate effectively with chemists, physicists and mechanical/software engineers to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget. Due to the seniority of the role, you will also have line management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Electronics Engineering degree
* Extensive electronic design experience including analogue, FPGA, microcontrollers and associated firmware
* Experience of high-voltage, low noise systems
* Ability to design complex multilayer surface-mount PCB’s
