We're looking for an Engineer to join our Client Devices team who will be responsible for providing technical support to end users on issues relating to digital hardware, software and peripherals.
In this role, you'll provide a responsive, customer focussed service to colleagues and work closely with other digital teams to receive and respond to job allocations and document the actions taken, ensuring these are dealt with in a timely manner and in line with Service Level Agreements.
Whilst the role will be based at one of our acute sites (Conquest Hospital or Eastbourne DGH), there will be the requirement to work across both sites, as well as to travel to our community sites and so a full driving license is an essential requirement for this post.
We're looking for someone who has experience of working in an IT support department, with a working knowledge and understanding of Windows and of Local and Wide Area Networks. Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory environments would be an advantage, as would experience of clinical and administration systems used in the NHS.
Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate complex technical information in a way that is understood by non-technical colleagues and will understand the importance of providing a high level of customer service. They will be able to work on their own initiative, have excellent problem solving skills with a logical approach and also be happy to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and providing support as required.
A wide range of staff benefits are available to our staff including staff development, enrolment in the NHS pension scheme, auto-enrolment to our Temporary Workforce Service, access to nurseries at Conquest Hospital and Eastbourne District General Hospital, staff restaurants and on-site staff accommodation.
In addition to an internal Occupational Health department, all staff also have access to free psychological support through our confidential Employee Assistance Programme which is available to staff 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Onsite parking is available for a small administration fee.
There has never been a better time to join East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, submit your application today.
