The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of Gillman's Commercial market share within the assigned region by developing and implementing effective sales strategies. They will maintain and nurture excellent relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. The role requires maintaining an excellent understanding of the products and solutions available within the commercial appliance industry, including their applications and suitability for our customers. Additionally, the Commercial Sales Manager will generate new business in line with the company's growth strategy and targets, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. They will proactively identify new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase revenue. Finally, the Commercial Sales Manager will maintain accurate and up-to-date company records in our CRM system, ensuring all customer records are kept up to date.
This is a national role, your area will be agreed and discussed with the successful candidate.
Key purposes:
1. Increase sales within the region the role holder is responsible for.
2. Maintain and nurture the excellent relationships we have with our existing customers whilst looking for opportunities to provide more solutions to our existing customers.
3. Maintain excellent product knowledge to ensure customers receive the first-class advice they have come to expect from our team.
4. Generate new business through the generation of leads.
5. Research new business opportunities, and work with management to implement a plan to grow the business in new sectors.
6. Ensure company records are kept up to date so we have accurate customer information.
Key Tasks:
1. Follow up, and convert leads with long term growth the priority.
2. Keep in regular contact with existing customers and feedback any recommendations to improve service.
3. Attend regular training sessions to maintain an excellent product knowledge.
4. Research new business opportunities.
5. Contact potential new customers and arrange appointments to present the solutions Gillman's have available.
6. Regularly update the database of customer information.
