General Purpose of the Position: This position is for field Jetting Technicians undertaking High Pressure (HP) water jetting and Ultra-High Pressure (UHP) Hydro Blasting utilising patented Tube Tech robotics and equipment. The position requires around 80% travel, which includes international travel and must be able to work in Oil and Gas facilities. When not assigned to a project the individual will be responsible for repair and maintenance of the equipment in the Tube Tech Rayleigh facility. Individuals must adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality programs and policies of Tube Tech/IGS. Critical Success Factors Must have a clear understanding of the Water Jetting process. Must be able to operate Water Jetting equipment safely and effectively. Must have a clear understanding of site-specific requirements. Must be able to repair and maintain equipment during operation. Must be able to inspect and identify unsafe conditions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Tube Tech/Rayleigh Operations: Repair and maintenance of equipment Support training activities. Support Lead Supervisor/Workshop Manager Method Statements Housekeeping of workshop Packing of equipment for projects in vans/pallets Shipping and receiving of equipment Stock takes of materials Support process changes to equipment. On-Site Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments Assist in setting up of water jetting Equipment. Work as a team Operating of Tube Tech equipment. Repair and maintenance of Tube Tech Equipment Skills and Abilities Required: Must have a valid drivers license. Understanding of Tube Tech project execution methodologies and risk areas. Experience in global Oil and Gas projects. Strong organisational and planning skills. Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with a variety of people. Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations. Able to read and interpret risk assessments and method statements. Ability to work in an industrial environment. Ideally have mechanical abilities. Must be able open to training required to perform tasks associated with warehouse operations i.e., Forklift Operator Certification, working at height, CCNSG Effort/Working Conditions: This is primarily a Rayleigh, workshop-based position Flexibility is required including additional hours to meet seasonal or other peak workload demands 100% of this time could require availability on a 24/7 basis to support operational requirements as detailed Job is performed in a challenging environment in various client facilities which includes but are not limited to oil and gas refineries Difficult working conditions characterised by long hours with 12-hour shifts Must be physically able to move in and out of confined spaces and work on heights 3 to 4 months of extensive travel, including international travel could be required Some travel required to other office locations and customer sites in support of operational needs Education and Experience Required: Experience with field services technology used for oil, gas, or similar industries is preferred. Experience with Water Jetting Equipment preferred.
